Rebecca and Oxana sold my long-owned family home during a historically difficult time in the real estate market due to a financial recession after the Great Plague of 2020. Their tenacity and marketing skills brought out home viewers in the dead of winter in which people are usually drinking hot toddies in a ski lodge or accelerating down a sheet of ice controlling a rubber disc to obtain victory. Victory is a key word here. Real estate is a battlefield in which sales are made or prevented by financial institutions, rule of law, land transfer taxes, location, small driveways and other parking issues, square footage, good housekeeping and maintenance, chattels, irrevocability and price. During this particular battle for home sale, there were many periods of disappointment when morale and hope were lying in the basement, but with meetings to discuss new strategies to make the home attractive to buyers, offers and considerations became reality. When the home sold on 21 February, the sky was the limit! And with a 90-day future closing date! Lots of time to plan the move! But the team of Romeo and Watts did not hesitate to continue to display their talent. The stress of finding a new home was quickly alleviated with a purchase two days later – 23 February – of a beautiful and renovated home that had a larger yard, shed and a detached garage, And a finished basement apartment with all the appliances that you need! This adventure had all started by a simple knock on the door by Oxana in which she left her business card and her magical charm. It was finished by Rebecca’s killer sale’s instinct and the art of the deal. Rebecca Romeo is Amazing!!! I had the pleasure of working with Rebecca Romeo right from the moment that I began contemplating selling my home. Upon contacting her, Rebecca took the time to truly listen and understand my needs. She even questioned my decision to uproot my life and start again in a new city hundreds of miles away. You might find this odd, but this one moment spoke volumes about Rebecca's character. She is honest, integral and always has your best interests at heart. She noted specific textures and colour schemes. For her, preparing my home, was all about the finer details. I was already impressed but to top it all of, Rebecca arranged to come to my home the following day and did all the staging herself. She did an incredible job and my house looked fabulous! Then when it came time for the first open house, Rebecca was there. She arrived early, looked very professional, re-explained the process to me and set clear expectations for what she was hoping to achieve. This should not come as a surprise to anyone, but offers were made and my home was conditionally sold the following day. It closed 6 weeks later. My relationship with Rebecca did not end with the sale of my home. She also came with me on several occasions, to find my new home in a city that was over 3 hours away. This was completely above and beyond what any realtor would do, but this is what Rebecca does. She will do whatever it takes. To her you are more than just a client, you are a friend.
